ANF “Machine learning for microscopies”

Have you heard about the machine learning revolution, but don’t know where to start from?
Have you tried using turnkey software but struggled to understand how it works?
Have you been following the tutorials available on the net but haven’t managed to install that *** library that would unlock your segmentation problem?
If at least one of these sentences describes your current situation, the RT-MFM ANF “Machine learning for microscopy” is made for you! It aims at increasing your proficiency in machine learning tools.
At the end of the training, you will be able to use these techniques in your daily activity, but also to share the tools, knowledge and best practices with the users from your facility.

The ANF will take place in 3 stages:
– A video pre-training to acquire the basics and a common vocabulary, with a video debriefing;
– A 3-day face-to-face training in La Rochelle
– A post-training feedback in the form of a dedicated round table during MiFoBio

From Tuesday 19th (2pm) to Friday 22nd October 2021 (12pm)

> For whom?
– BioImage Analysts working in facilities
– Participants mastering a scripting language (Python, ImageJ macros …)
– Limited to 14 participants (a selection of participants is planned)
NB: the training will take place on the participants’ computers

– To acquire the vocabulary
– To acquire the mastery of the “turnkey” tools
– Leave with a configured machine
– Transfer this know-how
